The campaign challenges media outlets to take professional ethics for gender-fair reporting seriously and encourages journalists to pursue a gender lens in news content across print and digital media platforms. It provides resources for ordinary audiences to build knowledge on gender dimensions of media content and practice, and practical tools to engage with the media.&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: black;\">Take action<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; color: black;\">: Use the campaign resources &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/whomakesthenews.org\/es\/advocacy\/end-news-media-sexism-by-2020\/quiz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">quiz<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/whomakesthenews.org\/es\/advocacy\/end-news-media-sexism-by-2020\/games\/\">games and puzzles<\/a> &#8211; to build your knowledge about gender issues in the media | Participate in the &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/whomakesthenews.org\/es\/advocacy\/end-news-media-sexism-by-2020\/letter-writing-campaign\/\">This is NOT OK<\/a>!&#8217; letter-to-the-editor series. Apply the <a href=\"http:\/\/whomakesthenews.org\/es\/advocacy\/end-news-media-sexism-by-2020\/scorecard\/\">media gender equality scorecard<\/a> to rate your local media.
