Book 1 discusses conceptual issues on gender, media and professional ethics. Book 2 presents guidelines for reporting on several thematic areas from a gender ethics perspective. Themes covered include climate change, disasters, economic and political news reporting.

Increased gender-awareness training of media professionals
Greater action by audiences to hold their media accountable
Stricter enforcement of gender-focussed media codes and policies
More female journalists, editors and media house managers
